Boosted Rev wont charge to 100%

If your Boosted Rev does not charge to 100% but halts at a certain percentage like 70% it might have a BMS issue and/or cell imbalance. The BMS is preventing full charge because there is cell imbalance.

It is best to empty the battery in a constant rate. To do this, you turn the Rev upside down on a stable surface and you tape the throttle open. Then you let it spin till the battery is empty. This should reset the BMU.

This is a known solution for some of the BMU issues. Yes, by depleting the battery completely, you force the BMU to take note of what the actual 0% is.
