You will need all of the components shown above to install your AM1 saddle, including a 5mm and 6mm hex key.
Loosen the 6mm hex bolt on the underside of the seat post using the 6mm hex key from your AM1 tool kit. Do not completely remove it.
Loosening the bolt will release the clamping plate on top of your AM1 seat post. Once the plate is loose, you will have the ability to move it from side to side or rotate it. This will give enough room to install the saddle rails.
Slide the saddle rails into the slots on either side of the top of the seat post. The hex bolt should be at the rear of the saddle after installation.
Adjust your saddle position and angle and then tighten the hex key bolt using the 6mm hex key and then set to one side.
Place your seat post clamp onto the seat tube of your AM1 frame.
You may need to slightly loosen the 5mm hex bolt in the seat post clamp before installation.
The seat clamp should fit all the way down onto the seat tube as shown.
Pay careful attention to the minimum insertion line on the seat post of your AM1.
Take your saddle and seat post assembly and insert them into the frame. Note the minimum insertion line. This point should always be inside the frame of your AM1.
The same applies to the other AM1 seat post. Pay careful attention to the minimum insertion line, to help ensure the safe use of your AM1 and saddle.
If the seat post will not fit you may have to further release the seat post clamp that is now installed on your AM1 seat tube. To do this use the 5mm hex key from your AM1 tool kit.
Make sure the saddle is straight and then tighten your seat post clamp using the 5mm hex key.
