You will require the rear wheel, the 160mm disc and the remainder of the disc brake bolts.
Remove the adhesive protective layer from the centre of the rear wheel as shown.
The layer will peel away to reveal the fixing points for the rear disc.
As with the front wheel, find the drive direction arrow on the tyre sidewall and match this up with the direction arrow on the disc as shown.
Carefully thread the disc over the wire and axle wiring.
Insert and tighten all bolts until they are completely flush with the surface of the disc brake.
When installing the wheel, ensure that the wire coming from the axle is on the same side as the wire coming from the frame. The wire coming from the axle should be on the rider’s left side.
Loosen off the nuts on both sides of the axle. All of the washers should be on the outside of the frame when it is inserted into position in the AM1 frame.
Slot the frame onto the wheel ensuring the washers stay on the outside. Also make sure that the wheel is inserted with the wire towards the front of your AM1, as shown above. It will not be possible to connect the motor if the wire is facing backwards. Loosely tighten the nuts up on each side of the axle. We will tighten these properly after we have installed the chain.
