There are two discs included with your AM1+ build kit. There is a 180mm disc for the front wheel and the smaller 160mm disc for the rear wheel.

Note the rotation direction on the side of the tyre.

The rotation arrow on the disc should match the direction shown on the tyre sidewall.

Using the included t25 Torx driver, install 6 of the disc brake bolts through the disc and into the hub of the front wheel.

The bolts have threadlock on the shafts so some extra force may be required.

Ensure that all 6 bolts are tightened and are completely flush with the surface of the disc.

The tyre will have a ‘Drive’ direction with an arrow. The wheel should be inserted with this arrow pointing in the direction of travel.

Loosen off the nuts on each side of the wheel axle. The washers should be on the outside of the forks.

Carefully slot the fork onto the wheel with the drive arrow on the tyre pointing forwards and the washers aligned as shown in the previous step. Make sure the brake pads align with the disc that you mounted onto the wheel in the earlier steps.

You will need the 15mm spanner from your toolkit to tighten the front wheel.

Check both wheel nuts are tightened.
