The smaller fender on the left is the front fender and it will be installed in the following steps.

Release the front rim brake using the lever as shown.

Unscrew the joint connecting nut from the back of the fork.

Remove the rim brake from the front of your AM1, do not remove the brake cable from the rim brake. Make sure the washer does not fall off the rim brake thread after removal.

Push the fender in from the front of the AM1.

Feed the threaded section through the mounting tab on the fender and then through the hole in the frame.

The washer should be on the outside of the fender mounting tab as shown.

Tighten the connecting nut at the back of the fork as when you first installed the rim brake.

Push the rim brake release lever back down to reconnect the front brake.

On both sides of the fork install the small hex bolts with a washer into the wires connected to the fender.

Use the 3mm hex key to tighten up the bolts on both sides.
